Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents: a two-person, married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions with Sunday Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver's license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must complete individual applications for consideration and be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
