Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and, as a two-person married couple, provide care, guidance, supervision, and structured routines for a group of about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning engaging developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially covering nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, the couple will later transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple when including housing and meals), comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement savings options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
