Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role initially follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual placement into a single, fixed student-home assignment. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students
