Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (full-time, two-person couple) live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to provide care, mentorship, supervision, and activities for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, managing schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and progresses to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
