Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents: married couples live in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from initial nine-days-on to a Placed Houseparent role. Compensation includes per-person salary of $44,768 with full benefits and relocation assistance; requires two-spouse, fully married status for at least two years, age 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Location: WHITTIER, CA US.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
