Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus and supervising 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentoring, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a consistent home with the same group of students; includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
