Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and jointly provide care, mentorship, supervision, and logistical support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/ recreational activities, and guiding students through daily devotions and chapel. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement savings, relocation assistance, paid training, and housing/ meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Each spouse must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
