Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Newburgh, NY, as a two-person married couple to supervise and guide 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and adhering to a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, comprehensive health/dental/vision, retirement, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training. Requirements include youth-related experience, being legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, valid U.S. driver’s license with potential certification to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with Judeo-Christian chapel participation. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Willingness to participate in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
