Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on campus to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. The two-person, married-couple role includes daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The position starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent structure, with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
