Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive insurance options, relocation assistance, and paid time off. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; both spouses must apply individually to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Residence on campus in on-site homes
- Willingness to follow a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
