Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and guidance, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on, three-off schedule initially, then transition to a Placed Houseparent living-and-working in the same student home; benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role – married couple
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Couple-based role: both spouses must apply independently
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- On-campus residency
- Smokefree and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person household living in student home
