Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents on a university-like on-campus housing team; a married couple reside in a student home and supervise 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions including Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person around $44,768 (approximately $168,000 total per couple with housing/meal utilities), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training. Requires a two-spouse, legally married for at least two years, age 27+, on-campus housing and daily involvement with student wellness and activities; preference for experience with youth and a strong commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and Judeo-Christian chapel services.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience with youth (volunteer or work)
- Residence on-campus in a two-person family setting
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Age 27+ for both spouses
- No more than three dependents in home
- Planned long-term commitment
