Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents: married couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Requires living on campus with a two-person partnership and compliance with campus policies; includes relocation and paid training benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
