Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent role for married couples to reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, development and recreational planning, daily devotions, and budgeting/reporting for a group of ~8–13 students. Role transitions from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents; on-site with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses aged 27+ who are legally married for at least two years; work environment is smoke-free and weapon-free. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
