Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes with a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a fixed home assignment. Qualified couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses be 27 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and van-certification eligibility, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a total compensation around $168,000 per couple, with salary of $44,768 per person. The position requires completion of separate applications by each spouse.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
