Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School located on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and supervision of approximately 8-13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, driving students to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person and relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, and paid training. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
