Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples living on campus to care for and guide a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van certification, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and complete individual employment applications. Salary per person is $44,768 with full benefits and relocation assistance; on-campus housing and meals are included as part of total compensation.”,
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
