Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initially serving multiple homes on a 9-on/3-off schedule, they will transition to a single placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Location: on campus in Hershey, PA; benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement, relocation assistance, paid time off, and housing/meal provisions. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a drug/alcohol-free, weapon-free campus; both spouses must be licensed and apply separately. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
