Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students. They manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and follow a nine-on/three-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Compensation is $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance; includes free housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role for married couple
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
