Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Live in an on-campus student home and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and supporting a transitioning Placed Houseparent role after an initial nine-on/three-off schedule. This position requires a married couple, both aged 27+, with at least two years of marriage, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and alcohol-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary per person is $44,768 (approximately $168,000 per couple total). To apply, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Relocation assistance provided
- Willingness to work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off
