Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and coordinating budgeting/reporting. The role progresses from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Requires two legally married spouses (both 27+) to apply separately; includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and housing. On-site location in Hershey, PA with a salary of $44,768 per person and total compensation around $168,000 per couple.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse marriage and two-year legal marriage
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to relocate to campus as required
