Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires experience with youth, a two-year married history, both spouses aged 27+, no more than three dependent children in the home, smoke- and weapon-free campus, and valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans. High school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel participation with no proselytizing. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
