Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for on-campus student homes, a two-person married couple role providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and housing meals on duty. Requires both spouses to complete individual employment applications and possess a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment applications (both spouses)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a two-person, married-couple role for at least two years
