Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and complete individual applications; candidates should be 27 or older with up to three dependent children. Location: Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
