Job Summary
Full-Time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and routines for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring youth, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent role with the same student home. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van certification ability, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and eligibility for employment as a two-person, legally married couple age 27 or older. Offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and ~paid time off; compensation is $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple) including on-site housing and meals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
