Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes, while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead developmental and recreational programs, including daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel services. Transition from supporting various homes on a nine-on-three-off rotation to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and reside in a smoke-free, weapon-free environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
