Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service and team development; help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; perform opening and closing procedures; process directives and communications related to store activities; maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays; assist in ordering merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), and loss prevention; supervise, train, and develop store associates; ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment and adherence to store policies; maintain cleanliness and proper restocking of areas to standard; collaborate with the Store Manager on daily operations and customer service initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
