Job Summary
Create and implement personalized treatment plans to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function for diverse patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or dealing with mobility impairments. Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations of patient mobility and functional capabilities, then adapt therapeutic interventions based on individual needs and condition changes. Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants while documenting progress meticulously in clinical records. Engage with patients and families to educate them on rehabilitation techniques and strategies to enhance independence. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care across the healthcare continuum.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher education in a related field
- A valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Current certification in CPR
- A valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of relevant experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Experience in a rehabilitation facility or home-based care setting
- A deep understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical quality standards
