Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing medical histories and performing physical assessments to identify movement dysfunctions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing specific patient goals, utilizing modalities such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to promote healing. Educate patients and families on self-management techniques, guide safe use of assistive devices, and document comprehensive records to track progress. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure treatment continuity for clients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical needs, and chronic pain. This full-time onsite role in Apopka, Florida, supports a team focused on restoring mobility and independence in a home care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in orthopedic patient care
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate treatment plans and progress to patients and families
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer software
