Job Summary
Conduct detailed evaluations of clients through muscle, nerve, joint, and performance testing, then direct the physical therapy treatment process to prevent disability and restore function. Oversee care plan implementation by physical therapy assistants, administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, and instruct families on non-manual exercises. Assess home environments for independence recommendations and document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in clinical records. Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews to optimize patient outcomes for individuals recovering from surgery, managing orthopedic injuries, or dealing with neurological conditions. Work Monday through Friday in our Jacksonville facility, with a competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement matching, and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida in good standing
- At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Ability to involve families in the rehabilitation process

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with documentation processes relevant to healthcare
