Job Summary
Direct individualized therapy programs to restore movement, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities through evaluations, manual therapy, functional exercises, and modalities like traction and electrotherapy. Coordinate with Physical Therapy Assistants to implement treatment plans per state regulations while preparing accurate clinical documentation for compliance. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to refine holistic strategies and educate clients on rehabilitation, preventative measures, and assistive device usage. Work onsite at the Highland Park Rehabilitation Center, collaborating with physicians and nurses to support diverse patient populations ranging from surgical recovery to chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- valid licensure to practice in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR certification
- a valid driver's license
- A strong commitment to clinical excellence
- the ability to engage successfully with patients and their families
- Exceptional communication skills
