Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical impairments and set realistic treatment goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician directives while documenting progress using precise medical terminology. Monitor therapeutic interventions, adjust plans as necessary, and supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure care quality. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and maintain open communication with patients and families regarding home exercises. Requires current Florida licensure and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Full-time onsite role in Jacksonville, FL with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and the health care team
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and computer systems to manage patient documentation efficiently
