Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care setting to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans using exercise therapy, manual techniques, and rehabilitation equipment. Document patient treatments, responses, and progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance. Regularly reassess patients to adjust treatment plans as necessary and instruct patients and families on assistive device use and self-care strategies. Submit a CV and cover letter outlining qualifications and passion for physical therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid DPT license in the state of Virginia.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in using standard computer software for documentation and communication.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Desired Qualifications
