Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify deficits and create individualized treatment plans promoting recovery. Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and functional training to improve mobility, strength, and functionality. Document progress notes accurately and provide education to patients and families on rehabilitation processes and assistive device usage. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination for diverse populations recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that foster engagement and understanding with patients and families
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications essential for documentation and communication
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing patient needs and schedules effectively
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy services
