Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing medical history and functional capabilities to design tailored treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies. Monitor patient progress across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports populations, adjusting protocols to align with physician plans of care. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic processes and pain management strategies while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and nurses to facilitate seamless continuum of care and meet established productivity goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable the establishment of trust and rapport with patients
- Competent in basic computer skills
- Onsite work at the rehabilitation facility in Miami, Florida
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
- Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians

Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- At least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Current CPR certification
