Full-time Onsite Forensic Psychologist

Conduct psychological evaluations to assess mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and provide diagnoses with treatment recommendations to approximately 3,500 adult male inmates. Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services while assessing mental status to determine needs for higher levels of care or special placement. Monitor psychotropic medications for side effects, refer patients for medication management, and train staff on suicide risk factors and crisis intervention. Maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with physicians on patient care, and participate in quality-of-care reviews. Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, in a Golden Valley, AZ correctional facility.
