Job Summary
Monitor patient safety, security, and confidentiality for those presenting danger to themselves or others, utilizing de-escalation techniques and two-way radios to report incidents and maintain detailed logs. Ensure the safety of all stakeholders including clinical staff and visitors while handling private information with discretion. Conduct 12-hour shifts (0700-1900 or 1900-0700) in Ponoka and surrounding rural areas within a 500 km radius, requiring a valid Class 5 license to drive to sites and work on-demand weekends and overnight shifts. First Aid and CPR certification is required, with additional security training provided through Paladin Security.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification
- Valid Class 5 License
- Willingness to travel to other hospital locations in your own vehicle
- Open availability including a willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Willingness to work on-demand and pick up shifts on short notice
- Must be able to work both day and overnight shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
