Job Summary
Provide and direct patient/resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting facility, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Evaluate patient needs to establish effective treatment plans and coordinate supervision of all staff and disciplines. Perform necessary clinical documentation and maintain accurate billing records to satisfy regulatory requirements. Screen patients according to directed schedules and provide feedback to the Team Leader on clinical issues. Participate in facility processes, in-service training, and marketing efforts as requested. Actively licensed Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania with experience in long-term care or outpatient settings preferred. May travel to other facilities to provide services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with minimally a bachelors degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy, or a masters degree in speech-language pathology and/or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body
- Actively licensed therapist in Pennsylvania as an Occupational Therapist or related health care profession
- Knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings
- May travel to other facilities to provide services
