Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will screen and evaluate residents, establish and modify treatment plans, supervise the implementation of treatments by assistants, and ensure compliance with documentation guidelines. Responsibilities include discharge planning, educating staff and caregivers, coordinating in-services, maintaining professionalism, and promoting the profession within the facility. Candidates must have a degree in occupational therapy and meet certification and licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations
- Active state license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
