Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic issues including outpatient assessment, inpatient care, and major operative procedures. Share after-hours and weekend on-call coverage while participating in clinical trials and conducting quality initiatives based on performance data. Engage in GME activities for fellows, residents, and medical students through lectures, preceptorship, and small group teaching. Deliver services in accordance with accepted standards of care and ethical principles within an expanding system-wide Obstetrics and Gynecology program supporting 4,700 annual deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Licensed MD or DO
- Board Certified / Board Eligible
- Strong clinical background in evaluation and management
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of patient safety and participate in performance improvement
- Strong commitment to academic medicine and medical education
