Job Summary
Perform diabetic eye examinations, conduct standard eye evaluations, and provide pre-surgical clearances for surgical procedures. Review patient history, coordinate care with ophthalmologists, and deliver patient education and follow-up care. Comprehensive training for ophthalmic-specific skills is provided; no prior ophthalmology experience is required. Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Illinois NP or PA license with certification in Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology, or a related field. The role offers a full-time Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, including health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and CME support. Compensation ranges from $65–$70 per hour.
Required Qualifications

- Certification in Family Medicine, Adult-Gerontology, or a related field
- Comfortable working in an outpatient clinical setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
