Job Summary
Conduct complete physical exams, interpret diagnostic images, and prescribe treatment for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent patient presentations. Perform procedures such as laceration repair and orthopedics, while managing communications for recruiting, training, and trade events. Provide medical direction, supervise healthcare staff, and review charts, locking and closing patient records within 24-48 hours. Available for direct telecommunication consultation for emergencies or referrals. This safety-sensitive role requires a Medical, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree with current licensure, BLS certification, and knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree, Nurse Practitioner degree, or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited university
- Must obtain and maintain a current license
- Nurse Practitioners must be board-certified
- State and federal licensure requirements including DEA
- Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS
- Understanding of medical coding and billing
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood-borne pathogens, and others
- Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current provider staff

- 1 year is preferred but not required
