Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed for focused wound care at Integrated Wound Care. Responsibilities include conducting wound assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with a healthcare team, accurate and timely documentation, educating patients and families on wound care, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed. May include Ultrasound Mist therapy 2-3x weekly (training provided). Administrative work-from-home duties with a variable mix of clinical and administrative tasks; travel within Connecticut may be frequent, with part-time roles potentially requiring up to 2-3 hours of local travel and full-time roles involving more extensive travel. For full-time travelers, assistance with obtaining licenses in other states is available. Qualifications include an active NP license, wound-care experience, ability to work independently and in a team, strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records.
- Travel throughout Connecticut would be required.
