Job Summary
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver healthcare and manage patient care in a correctional environment. Perform assessments, diagnose patients, and handle medication management under physician supervision. Maintain active licensure, DEA registration, and written collaborative practice agreements while passing background investigations and obtaining security clearances. Requires one-year adult primary care or urgent care experience; correctional setting experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Maintains nurse practitioner or physician assistant license, registration or certification to practice medicine with physician supervision in jurisdiction
- Must have and maintain an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
- Maintains written collaborative practice agreement if required by state licensure
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
- Minimum of one-year experience working in an adult primary care or urgent care practice
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a correctional or institutional setting preferred
