Job Summary
Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served per individual service plans and Medicaid standards. Requires knowledge of basic nursing skills, client advocacy, and understanding of mental health conditions; certification as CNA or equivalent; CPR, First Aid, and CPI; 18+; 0.8 FTE full-time with a 11:00 PM–7:30 AM NOC shift; primary assignment in Oakland, CA on-site; wage range starting at $21.00–$23.71 per hour with applicable shift differentials; includes benefits such as PTO, holidays, CEUs, tuition discounts, and health/retirement options. Must pass post-offer physical, TB testing, background clearances, sanctions checks, and license verification as required; regulatory or local requirements may apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or a BA/BS with one year experience in mental health
- Certification as a CNA or its equivalent
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful post-offer physical examination, 2-step TB test, background checks, and license verification as applicable
- Driver's license and auto insurance if driving is required
