Job Summary
Night Registered Respiratory Therapist position at Methodist Richardson Medical Center (Bush/Renner Campus) focusing on adult and neonatal respiratory care. Responsibilities include ABG analysis, PFTs, various ventilator supports, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, airway maintenance, chest physiotherapy, CPR, and interpretation of CXR/ABG/PFT data. Proficient respiratory assessment across age groups with indirect supervision by medical director. Requires Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, and current BLS/ACLS; NRP/PALS to be obtained within 1 year of hire. New graduates welcome. The role emphasizes infection control, safety, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and patient satisfaction scripting; shift is overnight (7p-7a), 12x3 nights, located in Plano, TX (United States). The hospital is a 443-bed, Magnet-designated facility serving the Dallas area, with trauma and specialty certifications.” ,
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
