Job Summary
Night shift Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) on a full-time basis, located at Methodist Richardson Medical Center’s Bush/Renner Campus. Responsibilities include performing respiratory therapies and diagnostic procedures for adults and neonates, interpreting ABG, PFTs, and chest X-rays, managing ventilator support and oxygen therapy, maintaining equipment, and contributing to infection control and quality assurance. Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, active BLS and ACLS, and NBRC registration; Texas license in good standing; NRP and PALS to be obtained within 1 year of hire; new graduates welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
