Full time - Nights Registered Respiratory Therapist

Night Registered Respiratory Therapist at Methodist Richardson Medical Center (Bush / Renner Campus), working 7p-7a on a 12x3 Night shift in a 443-bed acute care setting. Responsible for therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFTs, and various ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy, and airway maintenance. Proficient with respiratory assessment and treatment of adults and neonates, under indirect supervision of the medical director. Performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics (arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function studies, ECG) and interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data. Maintains and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment, participates in infection control, safety and quality assurance, and supports patient satisfaction. Requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program; current BLS and ACLS; NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 1 year of hire; Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner; NBRC registration.
