Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care to inmates by administering medications, conducting assessments, and responding to medical emergencies with calm, skilled clinical judgment. Complete nursing documentation accurately while collaborating with providers, nurses, and correctional staff to maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the shift. Maintain patient dignity and uphold accountability in a correctional healthcare environment where experienced nurses thrive and newer nurses grow fast. This full-time night shift role includes rotating schedules with every other weekend off, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, and offers a sign-on and retention bonus.
