Job Summary
Full-time Vascular Neurology Physician to join the University of Minnesota/University of Minnesota Physicians, providing direct inpatient and outpatient stroke care and leading a robust telestroke network across the health system. Responsibilities include participation in NIH StrokeNet research fellowship, collaboration with neurocriticals, neurosurgeons, and neurointerventionalists, leading quality improvement initiatives, and integrating education for trainees. Protected time for research during Year 1 with coursework toward a Master's in clinical research and opportunities to lead pivotal local, national, and international clinical trials. Telemedicine support, academic environment, andshift-model transitions reducing overnight call are noted; visa-support includes O1 waiver candidates. Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/DO)
- ACGME-accredited neurology residency
- Vascular neurology fellowship
- Minnesota State Medical License (current or eligible)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
